Donald Trump and the Neocons war declared on Media and the Free Press
In 1933 Adolf Hitler took power, the Nazis controlled less than three percent of Germany’s 4,700 papers. The elimination of the German multi-party political system not only brought about the demise of hundreds of newspapers produced by outlawed political parties; it also allowed the state to seize the printing plants and equipment of the Communist and Social Democratic Parties, which were often turned over directly to the Nazi Party. In the following months, the Nazis established control or exerted influence over independent press organs. Hilter routinely referred to the press as the “Lugenpresse,” or “Lying Press.”
In contrast the media war President Trump has waged against American Press continues without stop. Every hour of every day, somewhere a major media outlet is being attacked by this president. It might be with a news show. It might be on an entertainment program. The reality about this issue is-it’s becoming more and more dangerous for journalist (media). For example according to the Committee to Protect Journalists, 2017 was one of the most dangerous years to be a journalist. Foreign leaders are taking President Trump’s anti-journalist rhetoric as a way to silence the people who should be using their voices, even American Journalist have been killed in the field. For the record Trump’s ongoing term for press is “fake News.”

In Contrast this year we saw the “alt-right,” the latest incarnation of white supremacy, break through the good ole boy’s stonewall of the past that for decades kept overt racists largely out of the political and media mainstream. Here are specific examples:
- Trump appointed key administration advisers with ties to the radical right, including Stephen Bannon, the head of Breitbart News who boasted of turning the website into “the platform for the alt-right.” The president thrilled white supremacists with his policy initiatives, such as revving up the country’s deportation machinery and curtailing civil rights enforcement.
- Reinvigorated white supremacists staged their largest rally in a decade – the demonstration in Charlottesville, Virginia. They were motivated when Trump would not censor the racist but instead he said “there was wrong on both sides.” Even more baffling was the fact that one young lady was murdered when one Neo Nazis drove his car into a crowd of Anti Protesters, and more of a reason for the president to call out these killers. War on Education
Hitler’s view on education was that it served a sole purpose – to ensure that a child was loyal to the Nazi state to ensure that the Third Reich lasted for 1000 years. A lot of the Nazi education system also reflected Hitler’s educational experiences. After his failure to get into the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna Hitler developed a loathing of intellectuals who in his opinion based their teaching on what could be learned behind desks or in lectures halls. Hitler wrote that the first duty of the state was to care for the physical well-being and physical development of the young so his nature was to control education for the purpose of the state.
“The whole education in a national state must aim first of all not at stuffing the student with mere knowledge but by building bodies which are healthy to the core.” Adolf Hitler
